Teresa Sanford Hall -- 2002-12-01
After living here for 4 years, and going through a Sanford Renovation in 2002, I feel a great connection to this building. I just love looking at old Sanford photos.

I was president of Sanford Hall in 1952. That "panty raid" was a farce. A few guys got into the second floor corridor and the girls turned the fire extinguishers on them which ended it. Lots of publicity about a few minutes of stupidity.

I lived at Sanford for three years in the 1950s and worked at the switchboard to pay my room and board. It was a nice place to live - convenient to campus, comfortable rooms (we even had weekly "cleaning ladies" who cleaned our rooms!), and a variety of activities one could take part in. I have many good memories of the time I lived there and still keep contact with friends I met there.
