You are looking south at an entrance to Pillsbury Hall. This is the east end of the building. It was built before 1900, and I assume was one of the first large buildings on campus. Pillsbury was instrumental in founding the University, and is behind the food service conglomerate of the same name.

Pillsbury Hall was built at the same time as Folwell Hall. They are the second oldest buildings on campus.
