To the right of the last photo and down the hill a little, is this large pavilion. You can see Lake Harriet through the trees in this photo, too. This was also taken in the fall of 1999.

I have many wonderful memories from the times that I spent at this very spot. One of the many wonderful aspects of Minneapolis....so many diverse,beautiful places to enjoy.

A great many parties I attended were held at this park... I wonder if the Highschool kids still go out there anymore.

I grew up living by "Upper Lake" Park, and used to hang out there after work at Lake Harriet Pizza (now Sebastian Joe's). I thought of it as "my" spot, until my sister gave me a Christmas present of my mom and dad's engagement party in 1945 - at Lake Plaisance pavilion. And I wondered how many people think of it as "their" lake too...
