This is my brother Marc while he receives stem cells by IV. They are in the pink bag in the upper right, on his IV stand.
Marc has already had high-dose chemotherapy, which has begun to weaken his immune system -- specifically his absolute neutrophil count, or ANC. This is a type of white blood cell.
