This is an intersection of two hallways on the second floor. This is where the classrooms for South High's Open Program were clustered when I was a student. The sectioned walls are the same, but have been slightly re-arranged.

They were re-arranged so that incoming students would have as hard a time as possible finding their classes.

There used to be a classroom right here and between my freshman and sophomore years- they ripped it out and put this awkward mess of a hallway!
