I was thrilled to see this picture as well as the one of the United Methodist Church. I went to Pratt Elementary and attended this church. I have so many wonderful memories there. I was on a search for a different school--used to be Nathan Hale elementary near Lake Nokomis--where I finished my elemetary education, but I cannot locate it.
Wanted to see if my sixth grade teacher was wavailable via email as I wanted to thank her for the gifts she gave me. Thanks for this wonderful photo tour..

Wow!
It is so nice to see Pratt looking so well! I attended Pratt in the late 70's and it looked much different then. I remember being fascinated by all the old graffiti that used to cover the school. Does anyone else remember that? I would love to get in touch with any other former students who are in my age range, I'm 26 yrs old.

Hi there!
If you thought this looked good from the 70's you can well imagine how good it looks to me. I attended in the late thirties. It still looks the same. We used to slide down Tower Hill on cardboard during winter recess. My old homestead on Melbourne gave way to the freeway sometime in the 40's I think. Gosh! What memories it brings back. I lived in the upstairs duplex at 16 Orlin for nine years, and they were wonderful. I still go back to the Ice Cream Social on the first Friday of June, and I tell all my family and friends about it. Just think, a free event where you get a spectacular view of the city.
