There is an early model jet fighter in front of this legion hall. I remember seeing this plane growing up, but I don't know what model it is.

looks like an f 85 starfighter, i got to ride in on up in Duluth afb back in the fall of 1970 for the ROTC program at UW_SUPERIOR.

I'm gonna have to say it's an F-80 Shooting Star. The F-85 was the old Goblin, and the Starfighter (F-104 designation) looked like a lawn dart.
