The wall is being renovated as a memorial to Reynaldo Areno, a young Filipino boy who was killed when a junk collector discharged a pistol at his head, thinking it wasn't loaded. The gun went off and killed the boy, whose body was discovered in a vacant lot in Angeles on February 9, 2005.
