This is the northern-most town in Ilocos Sur. On the highway in the Philippines, signs like this welcome you to many of the towns. This sign reads "Sanctuary of Sto. Cristo Milagroso", "Garlic Center of the North".

Its a beautiful sign. Congratulations to the officers and members of the Municipality of Sinait. I was there last October 24 to November 20, 2012 for a brief vacation. I've seen a big changed after the 15 + years that I did not go back to my birthplace Tapao. Agbiag ti Sinait ![Long Live Sinait!]
