description

You are on the third level of the Science Museum of Minnesota in downtown St.Paul. This picture was taken inside the Dinosaurs and Fossils exhibit. I didn't get the scientific name for either creature in the photo.

I am fairly certain that the Creature in the Foreground is a Glyptodont. As I recall, it is an Ancient South American relative of the Armadillo.
I had seen this creature at the Science Museum years ago as a
Child and was Greatly Intrigued by it. Over the years, I had not seen
it at the Museum, and the one or two times I inquired about it - the
people I spoke with had No Idea what I was talking about. So, after seeing him today on this Site - I Glad to to know that my Little Glyptodont Buddy is Alive and Well.
