This is a view of the downtown skyline from the east bank of the Mississippi. You are looking west from East River Road near Arlington Street, on the U of M campus.
On the far left, the white roof of the Metrodome is visible. The bridge at the bottom of the frame is the new Dinkytown Bikeway Connection. The bridge at center frame is the 10th Avenue Bridge, which connects the west bank near Seven Corners to 10th Street and University Avenue.

Mr. Gregerson I have grown very interested in Minnesota in the past three years and my interest in the twin cities, especially Mpls,has more than doubled. I really enjoy your site and have been trying to learn as much about the state and the cities as I can. Yesterday I learned that Minneapolis used to be two cites. So part of Minneapolis was once a whole other town. Is there any hint to that in the way the city is layed out at all?
