description
These are storefronts on 50th Street, just east of Xerxes Avenue, in the the Fulton neighborhood. That intersection has a Dunn Bros. coffee shop, and variety of small furniture and gift stores. I'm informed by Marsha Meury that her store, "Doin' the Dishes", is next to the barber shop. Katina Boosalis tells me the colorful store is called Judith McGrann. Thanks!

Thats pretty and that looks like a neat area! You have great photos. Sorry I'm alittle new to computers. Well keep up the good work! I would like to visit Minneapolis sometime though I'd prefer to live here probably!

When I was a young child, I used to get my haircut there. It was called Howards Barber Shop, and it was owned by a guy name Howard. Good memories going there with my father.

WOW!! Shades of New Orleans. I love it! I use to live near there, on 54th and Drew Ave. S. and went to elementary school at Robt. Fulton school a block or two from the pic -- until 5th grade when we moved to Kenyon, MN.
