You are on the observation deck of the Foshay Tower looking east over 8th Street. The red building on the far left is the Lutheran Brotherhood building. Metropolitan Center is the tall building to it's right. On the far right, the reflection of the Foshay itself can be seen in the Piper Jaffrey Tower.

The IDS is at center, the Foshay on the left. These were the only two "skyscrapers" the city had at the time.
