Lake of the Isles is north of Lake Street and west of Hennepin Avenue. It is connected by a channel under the street with Lake Calhoun(to the south). It is also connected to the Kenilworth Lagoon on the west, which leads to Cedar Lake. It has several small islands, as the name implies.
