On February 9, 2005, this crowd and members of the Philippine National Police-Scene of the Crime Operatives (PNP-SOCO) gathered on this vacant lot in Angeles City upon discovery of a Filipino boy's dead body. The victim, identified as Reynaldo Areno, was reportedly shot and killed by accident the night before. The suspect, identified as a junk collector to whom Reynaldo sold bottles to, dumped the boy's body in this lot, where the family found it by sunrise.
